eScribers is one of the largest growing legal transcription and reporting companies in the country and we are always looking to engage with freelancers experienced in:
- Stenographic reporting
- Digital Reporting
- Legal transcription
- Proofreading/editing
- Hearing management
- Logging
Candidates Must:
- Reside in the UK
- Be legally entitled to work in the UK
- Have a current UK bank account to receive payment
- Have a dedicated Windows computer equipped with Microsoft Word 2010 or higher and be confident in its use
- Have a stable Internet connection
- Have an excellent understanding of the English language, grammar, punctuation, etc
- Be confident in using the Internet to research case information/references
- Be committed to producing high quality transcription and ensuring the final transcript is complete and accurate
- Ensure deadlines are met
- Be a good communicator to ensure the best possible service
- Have 3+ years crown/civil/family court reporting/logging/transcription experience
- Be looking for work on a freelance (self-employed) basis only (ie, the volume of work offered can vary)
Other Advantages
- BIVR accreditation or other related industry certification is a plus
- Transcription experience in other industries will also be considered providing there is past history of crown/civil/family court transcription experience.
